Dear Dave,

 

As mentioned over the phone, yesterday I met with the Perez Plasencia family and they asked me about the open point of Davie in South Florida as they also heard that it is available. I live in Weston Florida since 2004 when I started with VW as Regional Manager South America and I know the Davie market very well as a customer and automotive expert.

 

I believe that it is key to have a dealer in that area that is Latin as possibly 80% of our potential customers in this market are Hispanics and the VW currently in the market around this area are not. The Perez Plasencia family has more than 40 years successful track record of representing automotive volume brands in South Florida and they are of Hispanic origin. From what I understand, the financials are not an issue and the location would be identified as soon as you signal them the possibility of being considered as one of the applicants. They also have a very interesting long term concept to ensure building the brand as it is desired by Volkswagen Group with all standards.

 

As a VW executive and member of the Latin Community in Weston, South Florida I can highly recommend the Perez Plasencia Family as a potential candidate for the Davie or any other market in South Florida.
